Our Workforce Readiness Program is designed to help participants build confidence, develop workplace skills, connect with employers, and become job-ready in just four weeks.

Week 1 – Orientation & Workplace Foundations
Focus: Building the foundation for success.
Students will:
Complete program orientation
Learn attendance and graduation requirements
Create or update a professional resume
Complete workplace safety training
Complete customer service training
Practice completing job applications
Learn workplace professionalism and expectations
Begin applying for jobs
Complete daily assignments

Week 2 – Interview Preparation & Career Development
Focus: Preparing to compete for jobs.
Students will:
Improve and finalize resumes
Practice mock interviews
Learn interview techniques
Develop elevator pitches
Continue submitting daily job applications
Receive career coaching
Build confidence speaking with employers

Week 3 – Employer Connections & Career Opportunities
Focus: Connecting students with employers and community resources.
Students will:
Meet recruiters and hiring managers
Attend employer presentations
Learn about staffing opportunities
Connect with workforce partners
Learn about WIOA, SNAP E&T, SCSEP, transportation assistance, and other employment resources
Continue job applications and follow-ups

Week 4 – Employment & Graduation
Focus: Transitioning into employment.
Students will:
Complete final assessments
Participate in graduation preparation
Complete the Early Job Placement Exit Form (if employed)
Receive employment referrals
Meet with community partners
Develop an employment action plan
Celebrate graduation
Certificates Earned

Every participant will also:
Submit daily job search activities
Build a professional resume
Practice interviewing
Receive one-on-one career coaching
Access exclusive employer job leads
Connect with community resources
Receive job placement assistance
Build professional confidence

Our goal is simple: Help every participant leave the program with the skills, confidence, and employer connections needed to secure employment and continue building a successful career.
Monday: In-Person 10:00 AM–3:30 PM
Tuesday–Thursday: Online Assignments
Friday: In-Person 1:00 PM–3:30 PM
